As we conclude National Reconciliation Week 2024, Access Mercantile unveiled indigenous artwork at our head office, which we hope will inspire conversations and reflections on the significance of reconciliation in our daily work and interactions.
"Big Mob Meeting on Country," created by Indigenous artist Jonah Gangarubay, depicts a large gathering on Dhurbarnlangann Country. This artwork is representative of our headquarters, a significant space where our team comes together to collaborate, connect, and celebrate.
Access Mercantile’s Reconciliation Action Plan is a living strategy that guides our actions towards creating a more inclusive and respectful environment. Our goal is to transform attitudes in the workplace through decisive action, such as the development of cultural awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and practices by fostering relationships between employees and First Australians.
